Get to Know Dr. Kodaman

I am most proud of the continuity of care and individualized care I've provided to my patients through their reproductive journeys. I've enjoyed establishing and maintaining these relationships with my patients from their first visit, through the sometimes challenging times, and then seeing the end result of their efforts.

I was initially inspired by my father, an OB/GYN, who took great pride in taking care of an underserved population in NYC. As an undergraduate at Yale, I took a course in Biology of Reproduction, which cemented my interest in reproductive medicine, leading to my PhD studies on the effects of oxidative stress on ovarian function, and ultimately to my postgraduate medical training in this field. As an Associate Professor at Yale, I helped teach the Biology of Reproduction course for many years and hope that I inspired the next generation of students to pursue a career in reproductive medicine and women's health.

My approach to patient care is a very individualized one, which is so important given that our patients come from different backgrounds and therefore have varying goals and needs. In addition, coming from an academic medicine background, I feel strongly about providing evidence-based care, ultimately with shared decision making to achieve the best results.

I love being outdoors, spending time with my family, and enjoying the arts.
That's who we're here to help.
