Welcome Taylor to the TFI Nursing Team!
We’re excited to welcome Taylor Cox to the Tennessee Fertility Institute (TFI) family! With 11 years of nursing experience and a deep personal connection to women’s health, Taylor brings both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to every patient she cares for. Read on to get to know her a little better.
A Passion Rooted in Personal Experience
Taylor’s path to fertility nursing is deeply personal. She lives with PCOS (which was recently renamed PMOS) and endometriosis, experiences that have shaped not only how she understands the fertility journey, but how she shows up for her patients.
“I find the field of fertility incredibly fascinating, [and] I’ve had my own journey of learning to advocate for myself as well as my patients. It’s so rewarding watching families grow and being a part of people’s dreams coming true.”
Her Background
Taylor holds a BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and brings 11 years of diverse nursing experience to TFI. She began her career on a telemetry floor in Los Angeles before expanding her skills across outpatient surgery, GI, PACU, and internal medicine — a breadth of experience that gives her a well-rounded perspective on patient care.
“What I love most about working as a nurse is building relationships with my patients and caring for them during a vulnerable time,” Taylor shared. “A little bit of encouragement can go a long way!”
If there’s one thing Taylor wants every patient to carry with them through their fertility journey, it’s this: “You are never alone.”
Outside of Work
When she’s not caring for patients, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, playing the piano, and reading.
We’re thrilled to have Taylor on the TFI team and know she will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. Welcome, Taylor!
