Celebrating TFI’s June Employee of the Month: Get to Know Kaitlynne
At Tennessee Fertility Institute (TFI), we're proud to recognize Kaitlynne Bivings, one of our Lab Technicians, as an Employee of the Month for June 2026. Read on to learn a little more about the person behind the pipette.
A passion for science and people
For Kaitlynne, the path to fertility medicine felt like a natural fit. "The fertility field stood out to me because it combines my love for science with the chance to help people through an important and emotional journey," she shares. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Tennessee Southern, and previous professional roles gave her an early appreciation for just how meaningful patient care can be.
Life in the lab
Ask Kaitlynne what she loves most about her role, and it comes back to the people — and the learning. "I love my work environment and all the people I work with," she says. "I love that each day I get the opportunity to learn something new and help people in a different way."
That spirit of growth shows up in how she approaches her work. "I'm most proud of being someone my team can rely on," Kaitlynne says. "I work hard to maintain high standards in the lab while supporting my coworkers and contributing to a culture of collaboration and care."
A message for patients
Kaitlynne knows the fertility journey can be a lot to carry. Her message to patients is simple but meaningful: "You are not alone. While the process can be challenging and emotional, there is a dedicated team supporting them every step of the way."
Outside the clinic
When she's not in the lab, you'll find Kaitlynne with a good book, spending a day at the river with her sisters, hanging out with her dogs, or watching reality TV.
